Enzo Chaoui, doing business as Job-To-Go ("JTG", "we", "us", or "our"), values your privacy. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your Personal Information when you use our Platform.
We are committed to complying with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide our Services, facilitate Transactions, and comply with legal obligations.
A. Information You Provide Directly
Account Data: Name, email address, password, phone number, and university/school affiliation (if applicable).
Identity Verification (Sensitive Information): To verify Taskers and prevent fraud, we may request government-issued identification (e.g., driver's license, passport) or school identification cards. By providing these documents, you expressly consent to their collection and processing for identity verification and fraud prevention purposes.
Profile Information: City, photos, skills, bio, and other content you upload to your profile.
Transaction Data: Details about the tasks you post or complete, including messages exchanged with other Users on the Platform.
Payment Information: We do not store full credit card numbers. All payment data is processed and stored securely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We collect only limited payment info (e.g., last 4 digits, transaction history) for record-keeping.
B. Information Collected Automatically
Technical Data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, and app version.
Usage Data: Pages viewed, time spent on the Platform, clicks, and search queries.
Location Data: Approximate location (based on IP address) to show relevant local tasks. We do not track precise GPS location without your separate, explicit permission.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your Personal Information for the following purposes:
Service Delivery: To create your account, connect Askers with Taskers, and facilitate bookings.
Payments: To process payments and payouts via Stripe Connect.
Safety & Security: To verify identities, detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
Communication: To send you Transaction updates, security alerts, and support messages. If you consent during account creation, we may also send you promotional emails, platform updates, and newsletters. You can withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
Legal Compliance: To comply with tax reporting obligations (e.g., CRA, Revenu Québec) and other applicable laws.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your Personal Information. We share it only in the following circumstances:
With Other Users:
Public Profile: Your name, city, photo, ratings, and bio are visible to other Users.
Transaction: If you book a task, the other party will see necessary details (e.g., name, task location) to complete the work.
With Service Providers: We share data with trusted third parties who help us operate the Platform, including:
Stripe: For payment processing and identity verification.
Hosting Providers: To store our database and run the Platform (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of any person.
5. International Data Transfers
Notice for Québec Users: Our service providers (including Stripe and our hosting partners) may be located outside of Québec and Canada (primarily in the United States). By using the Platform, you acknowledge that your Personal Information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in jurisdictions where privacy laws may differ from those in your province.
6. Your Rights
Under Canadian and Québec privacy laws, you have the right to:
Access: Request a copy of the Personal Information we hold about you.
Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and Personal Information (subject to legal retention requirements).
Withdraw Consent: Withdraw your consent to data processing at any time (this may prevent you from using the Platform).
Portability: Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format (as of September 2024).

7. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies to keep you logged in and ensure the Platform functions correctly.
Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for the app to work (e.g., login sessions).
Analytics Cookies: We may use tools to understand how Users interact with the Platform. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings.
8. Data Retention
We retain your Personal Information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Notice or as required by law (e.g., tax records must generally be kept for 6-7 years). When no longer needed, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
9. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or theft. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure.
10. Changes to this Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email or a notice on the Platform.
11. Language / Langue
The parties acknowledge that they have required that this Privacy Notice and all related documents be prepared in English.
